Shakespearean Women

ShakespeareOFF / PERFORMANCE / 1H30

Thanks to a compilation of feminine threads from the works of William Shakespeare (“Macbeth”, “Othello”, “Much Ado About Nothing”, “King Lear”, “The Taming of the Shrew”, “As You Like It”, “Hamlet” and “Romeo and Juliet”), there has arisen an authorial tale about a troupe of musicians conducted by Hecate. Are we being addressed from the stage by the spirits of figures from old times or by contemporary artists, who are trying at all costs to understand the lives and situations of women from Shakespeare’s plays? How much do they have in common with contemporary women? What connects them?
