bless the king_a non-lyrical song

Duration: 30 min

The main inspiration was William Shakespeare’s tragedy “King Lear”, in particular the relations between King Lear and his youngest daughter, Cordelia. This is a story about what occurs in Lear’s mind in the final stage of the play. His pricks of conscience take on the form of bodily interaction, based on tensions in whose presence it becomes crushing. All of this takes place in a space which is already the shreds of a home, in which the constantly appearing Cordelia becomes Lear’s curse.
